The best time and place to clean your piercings is in the shower, so shower daily. Wash your piercing with unscented soap, then let the shower blast all the dried cebum and dead skin cells off. Keep the jewelry clean and your piercing should heal just fine.
Use Non-alcohol mouthwash when you wake up, before bed, and after each meal.
Avoid alcohol, greasy foods, and smoking for the first week, or as long as the swelling persists.
-Use alcohol, peroxide, skin cleansers, or lotions on or around the piercing.
-Touch, rotate, submerge, sleep on, remove, or apply pressure to the jewelry.
